The ninth France China film festival will be hosted in France China cultural center by the China state film bureau and French Pathé group. This festival will hold a month of a film screening in Paris, Cannes, Marseille and Lyon, Strasbourg and Galbraith. "Mo Seung", "Operation Red Sea", "Shadow" and other Chinese films will be played in the festival.
The method in communication activities is initiated with the help of the French Pathé group. Through 10 latest Chinese films show the French audience the richness and diversity of Chinese films; let them have the opportunity to interact and learn about the Chinese film production, and understand better about China's national conditions and the Chinese culture. The festival will play films cover all types of films, including author films, commercial blockbusters, action films, dramas, romantic comedies, historical dramas. All the films in the exhibition represent to some extent of the highest level of contemporary Chinese filmmaking.
Another purpose of the festival is to promote dialogue between Chinese and French film institutions and professionals; and to consolidate the communication between them, deepen the partnership and strengthen cooperation in the film and audiovisual industries.
"Carrying the French film festival in China improves the method of the cultural mission of friendship between the two countries. Through the medium of film, with the French audience will share the lifestyle of the Chinese people and Chinese culture; promote the mutual understanding between the two peoples," Film festival chairman of China, Paris director of the center for Chinese culture Zhenquan Yan said.
China's film market has been booming in the past decade. Since 2012, China has become the world's second-largest film market after the United States. The French China film festival will help French people understand the rapid growth of the Chinese film industry and get to know China and China through films.
